Prepare your body because death metal pioneers Immolation have announced an Australian tour for September! The US 4-piece are legends of the Death Metal scene, having been the forerunners for the sub-genre alongside bands such as Cannibal Corpse and Morbid Angel.

If you are a fan of incomprehensible screamo, unrelentingly fast drums, unforgiving guitar shreddery, and BPM’s over 9000, this is the death metal band for you.

From the now iconic 1991 debut ‘Dawn of Possession’, Immolation have set the bar for heaviness and uncompromising aggression for over two decades. Their latest full length effort ‘Kingdom of Conspiracy’ is no different, if anything it’s their clearest and most concise demonstration of death metal to date (thank you modern recording technology!).

Like many old school metal bands Immolation have defied critic’s plea to “evolve” their sound and have stuck with their simple approach to writing music: heavy as possible, fast as possible and as loud as possible.

Immolation’s live shows aren’t exactly mellow affairs, with performances promising to melt your ears whilst the mosh pit may rearrange your facial features and drown you in other crowd member’s sweat.
