Isabel Rumble Unveils New Album ‘Hold Everything Lightly’ – A Gentle Journey Through Change and Self-Discovery
Beloved Australian indie-folk artist Isabel Rumble has revealed her much-anticipated second album, ‘Hold Everything Lightly’. The regional NSW-based songwriter invites listeners into a world of tenderness and transformation, exploring life’s quiet moments of change, acceptance, and renewal.
Flowing between intimate acoustic folk and textured, layered soundscapes, ‘Hold Everything Lightly’ captures Isabel Rumble’s gift for blending fragility with strength. Her voice remains the album’s guiding light—warm, grounded, and ethereal—supported by fingerpicked guitars, bowed strings, slide guitar, and subtle percussion. The result is a record that feels both rooted in nature and expansive in spirit.

Across ten tracks, Rumble moves through themes of self-reflection and surrender. From the serene opener ‘Soften’ to the hauntingly beautiful ‘Knowing’ and the liberating title track ‘Hold Everything Lightly’, each song unfolds with emotional honesty and grace.
“Following the release of my first album, my approach to songwriting began to morph into a new phase. The songs that make up my second album are the most raw and honest I have written. They let me turn inwards and meet myself honestly in the midst of big change and transition. These songs very much travel through internal landscapes whilst, or perhaps as a consequence of, listening to the cycles of the world around me.”
To celebrate the release, Isabel Rumble will embark on an Australian tour through October and November, bringing her intimate performances to venues including Brunswick Ballroom (Melbourne), Grace Emily (Adelaide), and Can You Keep a Secret (Brisbane).
