Ivan Ooze Drops Fire With “Bills”, Announces National Tour

Melbournian emcee Ivan Ooze has been a busy guy lately, dropping his latest project Bills featuring Wu Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah earlier this week after supporting the Clan on  their Aussie tour.

Bills is similar to Ooze’s previous works, characterised by violent delivery and off-kilter rhyming patterns over electronic tracks, but what really sets this track apart is its ferocity – Ooze’s delivery hits a new level as he spits absolute fire throughout. The booming bass and drum track paired with spacey synths is a simple accompaniment and less busy than some of his previous work, but rather than leaving the track feeling empty, the bare-bones instrumentation allows Ooze’s vocals to shine through. Ghostface Killah makes his appearance on the final verse of the track, closing with poise and precision as only a rapper of his calibre could.

Bills is the lead single off of Ooze’s as of yet unannounced EP, which, if Bills is anything to go by, will be straight-up fire. On top of dropping a killer single and announcing an EP, Ooze has announced his national “Bills” tour, hitting all the major cities with experimental hip-hop artist Lyall Maloney.
