Jamie Lane Returns With New Single Sweet/Bitter

Australian producer Jamie Lane jumped straight into 2020 with all guns blazing after the release of his super cool electro-house single EZ and we’re stoked to say that he is back with yet another big jam Sweet/Bitter.

Lane flexes his muscle of production talent across his releases blending alt-pop/alt-RnB electronica that has similar vibes to that of TOKiMONSTA, Medasin and even SBTRKT, and Sweet/Bitter is no different.

The new tune is full of big beats, groovy bass and poppy synth work. It comes across as quite a uplifting track however the inspiration behind Sweet/Bitter is full of emotion and turmoil…

“This one is pretty personal, it’s basically about being involved and in love with someone to the point where it blinds you from the underlying incompatibilities and clashing of values. A blinding as chronic as the will to suppress those feelings. You want it to work out, or maybe you don’t want to be alone. You become so attached and tangled up in someone else’s world, you forget your own world, including the instinct that maybe that person isn’t right for you, and you’re doing yourself a disservice by refusing to be honest about it. This song is about the turbulent emotional state that preceded the eventual decision to end it.” – Jamie Lane

Sweet/Bitter is available now everywhere.
