Jillian Loux Blossoms with Debut Single ‘White Lilies’

Emerging like a musical comet from the heart of Atlanta, Georgia, Jillian Loux makes an indelible mark with her debut single, ‘White Lilies.’ At just 18 years old, this singer-songwriter unveils a sonic masterpiece that transcends genres, seamlessly blending R&B, soul, and alternative influences into an ethereal soundscape. Loux possesses a lyrical finesse that is nothing short of poetic, intertwining her words with a vocal delivery as smooth as honey, creating a mesmerising auditory experience. ‘White Lilies’ showcases Jillian Loux’s remarkable musical prowess and establishes her as a promising artist with a unique ability to transport listeners into a realm of sonic elegance and emotional depth.

Navigating the challenges of the pandemic, Jillian Loux embarked on a transformative musical journey, spending two years immersed in virtual collaborations with renowned Australian songwriter Nat Dunn. Known for her work with global icons like Rita Ora, Charli XCX, Snakehips, and BLACKPINK, Dunn’s influence shaped the foundation of Loux’s debut EP. Breaking free from the digital confines, Jillian flew to Noosa, Australia, for an immersive week of co-writing and recording with the illustrious Nat Dunn and Australian music royalty Matt Corby. In the coastal haven of creativity, the synergy between the artists gave birth to the entire forthcoming EP, with the enchanting ‘White Lilies’ taking root precisely a year ago from this release date, capturing a momentous chapter in Loux’s musical odyssey.

“The song mentions various observations I’ve made about a particular friendship in my life and I’m basically coming to terms with the fact that the relationship is a bit toxic and it may be time to let it go. All love at the end of the day, but self love has to come first, which sometimes means cutting off people that hurt you more than benefit you.”  – Jillian Loux.

‘White Lilies’ serves as a timeless musical bloom, an ethereal testament to Jillian Loux’s artistry, a delicate yet powerful fragrance lingering in the hearts of listeners long after the last note fades.
