Josef Scott Unveils New Single ‘Picture Me’ Ahead of Upcoming EP ‘Beacon Hill’

Auckland-born, Boston-based indie artist Josef Scott has released his latest single, Picture Me, offering fans the first glimpse of his upcoming EP, Beacon Hill, which is set to drop in November.

Picture Me is a light-hearted reflection on the early stages of attraction, capturing the excitement and uncertainty of falling for someone and hoping they feel the same way. Scott wrote the track in his Boston apartment, inspired by the moment he first met his partner. The song embodies a playful, daydream-like vibe, full of anticipation and wonder about where the connection might lead.

Picture Me came to life one afternoon in my apartment in Boston. I was playing around on my acoustic guitar and reminiscing about the time I met my partner for the first time. It’s a light-hearted take on the thrill of being really into someone but not knowing where things might go. I was caught up in the excitement of it all, hoping she might see me the way I saw her. – Josef Scott.

With its acoustic roots and heartfelt lyrics, Picture Me stays true to the spontaneity of its creation, making it a refreshing addition to Josef Scott’s growing discography. It’s available now, everywhere.
