JUNO Enter The Game With A Bang On Their Debut Single, ‘Zero’

Brisbane indie-pop duo, JUNO have blasted onto the scene this week with their debut single, Zero. It’s just on two and a half minutes of dancefloor pop bliss and we’re all about it!

The duo are no strangers to the music scene with both members, Kahlia Ferguson and Sam Woods apart of indie-rock band Sunflower and they’ve combined their talents to create music more attuned to the pop rrealm.

Zero has a real summertime feel to it. Funky guitar licks, playful beats and a sassy vocal delivery make for a tune that will have you jiving in no time. The track was born out of a form of form of frustration for the duo.

“Songwriting has always felt like a bit of a therapy session for me. I love turning something that feels awful into something that sounds healing. After months of dealing with rumours and hearsay, Sam and I blurted out this song in the studio one morning, piecing together lyrics that made all of us laugh a lot. ‘Zero’ is a great blend of fun, sassy and empowering, embodying the kind of attitude we want to embrace moving forward.” – Kahlia Ferguson, JUN
