Justice Are Coming to Australian Shores: Are You Ready?

French electronic powerhouse Justice is set to ignite Australian stages this December with their first arena tour down under, promising a sensory extravaganza that redefines the live electronic music experience. Following the release of their Grammy-nominated album Hyperdrama in 2024, the duo—Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay—have been captivating audiences worldwide with a live show hailed as a “pulverising audio-visual spectacular that deserves to go down in history” .

A Visual Odyssey Beyond the Ordinary

Justice’s live performances are renowned for their intricate light shows and stage designs that transform venues into immersive realms. Their 2024 Glastonbury set was described as “thunderously heavy” and “effortlessly cool,” with visuals that left audiences in awe . The duo’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of live electronic music ensures that each show is not just a concert but a full-fledged spectacle.

Stepping into the Spotlight Post-Daft Punk

With the retirement of fellow French electronic icons Daft Punk in 2021, Justice has emerged as the torchbearers of the genre. While Daft Punk’s pyramid stage and robotic personas set a precedent, Justice has carved their own path with a darker, more aggressive sound and equally compelling visuals. Their evolution from the gritty electro of their debut album † to the polished disco-funk of Hyperdrama showcases their versatility and commitment to innovation .

Australian Tour Dates

  • Sydney – Qudos Bank Arena – Wednesday, 3 December
  • Melbourne – John Cain Arena – Friday, 5 December
  • Brisbane – Entertainment Centre – Sunday, 7 December

Presented by TEG Live, these shows mark Justice’s return to Australia after a seven-year hiatus, with their last performance being at the Sydney City Limits festival in 2018 . Fans can anticipate a setlist blending classics like “D.A.N.C.E.” and “Genesis” with new hits such as “Neverender” and “One Night/All Night,” the latter featuring Tame Impala .

A Must-See Event

Justice’s upcoming Australian tour is more than just a series of concerts; it’s a testament to the evolution of live electronic music. Their ability to blend sound and visuals into a cohesive, immersive experience sets them apart in the post-Daft Punk era. For fans and newcomers alike, these performances promise to be unforgettable.
