JVLY Delivers Immersive Concept EP ‘Sunder’
Rising Australian artist JVLY has officially unveiled Sunder, a compelling five-track EP that brings together months of sonic storytelling. The project arrives alongside its closing single, It’s Fine / Soju on the Moon, a two-part track that showcases JVLY’s emotional range and intuitive creative process.
Known for his lush blend of downtempo electronica, soul, and ambient textures, JVLY has spent recent months teasing the Sunder story with singles like South, Locum, Drowning In My Room, and Walked The Sun. Each track offered a glimpse into the emotional arc of the EP — and now, Sunder reveals itself as a cohesive body of work built to loop endlessly, both sonically and thematically.

“It’s 5 songs that are all parts of a whole story. Each song links to the next, and the end of the last song links back to the start of the first, so it can play in an infinite loop. The theme came from the cycles we find ourselves in — the situations, stages, and mental states we move through over time.” – JVLY.
The new single is especially revealing, shifting from the dreamlike calm of It’s Fine to the hypnotic, spoken-word layers of Soju on the Moon. The result is a cinematic soundscape that feels both intimate and expansive, perfectly capturing the EP’s themes of emotional cycles and personal reflection.
Sunder sees JVLY position himself as a standout voice in Australia’s alternative electronic scene — delivering mood-driven music that’s as thoughtful as it is immersive.
