K.Flay Reveals Intoxicating New Single, ‘Carsick’ Ahead of Australian Tour

Embarking on the exciting journey of 2024, acclaimed artist K.Flay is making waves with her latest mesmerising single, ‘Carsick.’ With multiple platinum certifications and two GRAMMY nominations, K.Flay is set to captivate audiences with her distinctive sound and compelling lyrics. As a prelude to her highly anticipated Australian tour in February, she will be headlining shows in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, alongside a thrilling performance at the Party in the Paddock festival in Launceston.

Crafted during the recording sessions of K.Flay’s MONO album, this latest track showcases her prowess as a songwriter and producer. Collaborating once again with Jason Suwito, a frequent creative partner known for his work with artists like MisterWives, Imagine Dragons, and Sir Sly, K.Flay brings a unique blend of artistry to the forefront. The accompanying official visualiser, skillfully directed and edited by MILK Studios’ Sonny Alvarez (recognised for his work with Jason Mraz and Spencer Sutherland), invites viewers on a captivating and disorienting visual odyssey perfectly synchronised with the song’s evocative soundscape.

“‘Carsick’ is about the moment you want to get off the ride. When the chaos isn’t fun anymore. I tried to capture both the dizzying feeling of being in a toxic relationship and the freedom that comes with leaving it.” – K.Flay

Carsick solidifies K.Flay’s status as a musical innovator and offers a sonic and visual experience that leaves an indelible mark, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in the extraordinary world she effortlessly creates.
