Kacy Hill Drops Chilling New Track “Lion”
Kacy Hill, you’ve done it again! The first taste of her upcoming debut album Lion shows off the angelic vocals this young songstress possesses, leaving you with chills everywhere.
Giving you goosebumps from the get-go, Lion is jam-packed with insane high notes that Hill smashes so graciously and flawlessly, leaving you in absolute awe. Let’s just add that to the ever-growing list of things that Kacy Hill is can do so well!
The rest of the track is a layered and intricate production, with cool electronic beats, a building intensity, and subtle hints of guitars, violins, synthesisers and many other elements.
Lion delivers powerful and emotion-drenched lyrics that are delivered in an almost cutesy way, “You’d change your mind once you knew what it’s like/Held your pride like all those times I let go of mine”.
Holding more to the song than just a catchy melody, “Lion is one of the most aggressive tracks off the album, it speaks rather shamelessly about my own tendency to shroud feelings of guilt in defensiveness,” says Hill.
