Kat Greta Reimagines Debut EP, ‘Get Up & Go’

Multi-talented indie-pop artist, Kat Greta has just released a re-take of her dynamic 4 track EP, Get Up & Go. Originally released back in 2022 with Kat performing on drums, the more recent version sees Kat step up to perform also on vocals.

“When I first released the EP, I wouldn’t dare sing it myself—I was the drummer, not the singer. Since then, I’ve embarked on a journey of growth, navigating personal struggles with mental health. Now, I feel empowered to share my stories in my own voice. This EP symbolises a fresh start that holds deep personal meaning.” – Kat Greta.

From the upbeat tones of opening track, Let It Go to the toe tapping dance vibes of Out of Tune to the gentler closing track, Farewell My Friend Get Up & Go is a delightful listen that is captivating and represent a big load of fun.

The lead track, Let It Go comes alongside the accompanying music video that perfect blends audio to video. The visual revisits the iconic beach setting, seamlessly merging past drum performances with Kat Greta’s evolved vocal strength.

“It reflects my growth, intertwining elements of my past with my current artist identity.”

Shot around the cherished landscapes of Cape Schanck on the Mornington Peninsula, the video and track resonate with Kat’s philosophy of living life to the fullest. Co-produced, mixed, and mastered by Lindsay Gravina (Adalita, Eskimo Joe, The Living End) at Birdland Studios, ‘Get Up & Go’ vividly captures Kat Greta’s artistic resurgence, brimming with clarity and passion.

Get Up & Go is a refreshing listen from start to finish highlighting Kat Greta’s knack for writing tracks that can resonate with all music lovers. It’s fun, it’s upbeat and it’s entertaining. It’s available now, everywhere.
