Keli Holiday Drops New Single ‘Online Jesus’ Featuring Alex Cameron

Australian indie-rock sensation Keli Holiday is back with his latest single, Online Jesus, featuring the distinct talents of singer-songwriter Alex Cameron. The track takes a witty jab at the complexities of modern dating and the often-absurd personas people adopt on social media and dating apps.

Collaborating with Cameron after touring together earlier this year, Keli Holiday (aka Adam Hyde) has crafted a bold, synth-heavy sound in Online Jesus. Described as a “Brit pop, synth pop tangerine nightmare on ecstasy,” the song blends Keli’s high-energy punk-pop style with Alex Cameron’s signature indie flair, addressing the struggles of finding genuine connections in the digital age.

“This track was one of the first ideas Alex and I worked on together. We laid in a scratch melody on the bassline and the guitar lead, then came back the next day and we were speaking about the state of modern love and dating apps. The online Jesuses who believe they are god’s gift to women sent from the internet to be the rapture and saviour for those women longing for a partner… A far cry from the truth.” – Keli Holiday.

Patrick Topping Announces Exclusive Melbourne Show This December

Accompanying the track is a music video featuring Keli’s real-life partner, Abbie Chatfield, set to drop on October 10. Fans can expect a visually outrageous, tongue-in-cheek look at modern romance.

After a string of sold-out headline shows, Keli Holiday is set to take his electric live performances on the road again, with plans for shows in regional Australia, New Zealand, and potentially the UK.

Stay tuned for upcoming tour dates and the release of the Online Jesus music video, which promises to be just as attention-grabbing as the track itself.
