Keli Holiday Returns with Pulsing New Single ‘Dancing2’ Ahead of Sophomore Album

Keli Holiday, the creative alter ego of Adam Hyde (best known as one half of Peking Duk), is back with a fresh dose of indie-electronic energy in his new single Dancing2. Serving as the first taste of his upcoming second album, the track fuses a hypnotic beat with sweeping strings, setting the stage for a modern love story about connection in a distracted world.

Hyde drew inspiration for Dancing2 from his own relationship with Abbie Chatfield, capturing the feeling of finding love amid chaos. The song’s emotional pull hints at a deeper, more personal chapter for the Keli Holiday project, following his 2022 debut KELI and last year’s JESTERMAN EP.

“This song is about meeting a love that seemed a world away. There’s so much noise and distraction going on constantly as two single people in whatever business you want to call that we’re in. There are people in and out of our lives at different times, trying to find what we are, and just journeying through life in our own way. We were both just dancing through the show as we all are. There was a definitive moment when we decided to connect with each other on an unspoken battlefield and we have been dancing together ever since.”Adam Hyde, Keli Holiday.

The official music video, directed by long-time collaborator Ryan Sauer, drops next week and promises to bring the track’s themes to life with cinematic flair.

Known for electrifying live performances, Hyde is ready to hit the road again with a brand-new setlist once album and tour announcements land. Until then, Dancing2 offers fans a perfect reason to hit repeat and lose themselves on the dance floor.

Keli Holiday’s ‘Dancing2’ is available now, everywhere.
