King Gizzard Drop Epic Lineup For 2016 Gizzfest

Psychedelic masterminds King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard have announced the lineup and dates for the second year of Gizzfest, their own curated psych-rock touring festival! Naturally, King Gizzard will be headlining the event after a massive year with their eighth record ‘Nonagon Infinity‘.

Starting in November, the tour will see some of the world’s biggest psych groups including Perth’s Pond and the USA’s Mild High Club converging for the first time. The lineup also features Victoria’s up-and-coming rockers Stonefield, self-proclaimed sloppy-rockers The Murlocs, prog-group Orbs, and singer-songwriter White Fence (a.k.a. Tim Presley) from the States.

Most of the major capital cities (sorry Canberra and Darwin) will be getting the massive psych/rock/funk feast, and judging by the success of last year’s event, it’s set to be quite the spectacle.
