Koi Child Drop Hectic New Music Video For ‘Touch ‘Em’
West Australian hip hop/nu-jazz collective Koi Child have just dropped a dope music video for their latest single Touch ‘Em.
Touch ‘Em’s laid back and smooth jazz vibes blend together with more modern hip-hop elements, drawing inspiration from rappers like Remi and Action Bronson.
The video shows the outfit trading places with the crowd in Fremantle’s iconic Mojos bar, swapping MC Shannon Cruz Patterson with an audience member and keys player Tom Kenny with the bartender.
As Koi Child trade places with everyone around the venue, the hyped up drum beats and eclectic horn section of the song reflect the hectic vibes of being thrown into the deep end.
Touch ‘Em’s highs and lows are captured perfectly within the video, as the dynamics of slinky bass lines and hard-hitting lyrics reflect the onscreen mayhem.
Koi Child head out on a national tour this week, so check out their latest single Touch ‘Em and all their tour dates below!
