Lana Del Rey Announces Australian Return
Update 17/01 8.30am: Joining Lana Del Rey on her incredibly anticipated Australian tour will be US singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Børns. ‘Blue Madonna’ is the artist’s most recent album, hitting shelves just last week, and the pair joined forces on the opening track, God Save Our Young Blood. No doubt there will be a live collaboration on stage when Børns join the full touring dates this March and April.
Update 19/10 10.36am: After, vaguely, announcing her Australian return earlier this week, more information on Lana Del Rey’s 2018 tour has been released. With dates already set in stone, Lana will be performing at Riverstage in Brisbane, Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne and Sydney will be held at Qudos Bank Arena.
Ticketing information has also been made clear with pre-sale for all shows kicking off tomorrow along with general sales for all shows starting from 11am AEDT Monday 23 October. Click HERE to see all the ticket info and the dates and times your location will be on sale.
Original Story: After several years being left waiting, Lana Del Ray has an announced an Australian tour. Last in the country for Splendour in the Grass in 2012, it’s now been five full years since Australia has last seen the songstress.
Lana has announced she will be playing shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in March 2018 touring for her new album, ‘Lust for Life’.
This is the first time we will see Lana perform since 2012, as Australia missed out on her tours for previous albums ‘Ultraviolence’ and ‘Honeymoon’.
“Really looking forward to playing for you guys,” she stated in the announcement. Well we are really looking forward it it as well—it’s about time!
Venues are yet to be announced, however pre sale tickets go on sale Wednesday October 18th.
