Laneway Festival 2025: Charli XCX, Bicep, and More Announced for Star-Studded Lineup
The highly anticipated Laneway Festival is back with a lineup set to ignite the 2025 summer festival season. Known for showcasing future icons and top-tier music talent, Laneway has once again outdone itself, securing one of the hottest names in pop, Charli XCX, as the headlining act for its Australian and New Zealand tour dates. With a reputation for curating groundbreaking artists and trendsetters, this year’s edition promises to be one for the history books.
Laneway Festival 2025 will see Charli XCX return to the stage, delivering exclusive performances across the tour. To mark the occasion, a number of national landmarks will light up in “brat green” to celebrate the pop star’s highly anticipated arrival. Joining Charli XCX on the lineup are Beabadoobee, the British bedroom pop sensation, Clairo, who returns as a fan favorite, and Bicep, one of the UK’s most in-demand electronic acts, presenting their new AV DJ show, CHROMA. Festival-goers can also look forward to electrifying performances by alternative pop queen Remi Wolf and dance floor favourite Barry Can’t Swim.
In keeping with its legacy of music discovery, Laneway Festival 2025 is introducing a host of debuting artists who will perform in Australia for the first time. Standout acts include British neo-soul star Olivia Dean, hip-hop duo Joey Valence & Brae, LA shoegazers julie, and NYC’s rising band Fcukers. Also making waves are UK dubstep DJ Hamdi and electropop artist 2hollis.
Not only does Laneway showcase international talent, but it also champions local music. This year’s lineup includes Australia’s very own Skegss, who are set to perform new music from their forthcoming album, alongside Brisbane’s Girl and Girl and electronic artists RONA., STÜM, and Ninajirachi.
Laneway Festival Programming Coordinator, Ruby Miles, expressed her excitement for the 2025 edition, stating, “This lineup is a dream come true. From global stars like Charli XCX to up-and-coming talents, the depth of artists performing this year will make Laneway 2025 truly unforgettable.”
Fans eager to secure their spot at the festival can register now for the exclusive pre-sale, presented by Afterpay, which opens on Tuesday, October 15 at 10am local time for 23 hours. General ticket sales begin the following day on October 16 at 10am local time. In a special celebration of *Charli XCX*’s return to Laneway, festival-goers can also purchase an exclusive vinyl edition of her album BRAT with their ticket.
