Laneway Festival 2026 Lineup Announced: Chappell Roan, Wolf Alice, PinkPantheress, Wet Leg and More

Laneway Festival has officially unveiled its 2026 lineup, and it’s one of the most ambitious in the festival’s 21-year history. Returning across Australia and New Zealand this summer, Laneway Festival 2026 promises debut performances, long-awaited returns, and Laneway-exclusive sets that will make it one of the must-see music events of the year.

Topping the bill is Chappell Roan, the Midwestern-born pop phenomenon whose gothic fairytale-inspired stage show has been captivating global audiences. Laneway 2026 marks Roan’s first-ever Australian national tour, with a full 90-minute performance that is already tipped as the live music moment of the summer.

UK heavyweights Wolf Alice will return to Laneway for an exclusive set, reminding fans why they’re regarded as one of the best live bands of their generation. They’ll be joined by a string of Laneway-only exclusives including:

  • Role Model – delivering heartfelt, sharp-witted anthems.
  • PinkPantheress – bringing her genre-bending, internet-pop brilliance.
  • Wet Leg – unleashing their cheeky indie chaos to the stage.

In a rare treat for fans, Swedish rap icons Yung Lean & Bladee will unite for a collaborative performance — only at Laneway Festival.

A Global and Local Mix of Rising Stars

The lineup also includes the sharp-eyed songwriting of Lucy Dacus, cult indie favourite Alex G, Kiwi star BENEE, bedroom-pop hero Cavetown, LA folk-psych group Mt. Joy, and New York’s unapologetic dancefloor starter The Dare.

Laneway continues its tradition of showcasing the future of music first, introducing breakout artists Malcolm Todd, Oklou, Jensen McRae, Geese, Wisp, and Gigi Perez.

Australia’s homegrown talent will also shine, with performances from Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Blusher, Shady Nasty, Armlock, The Belair Lip Bombs, and Djanaba, all bringing their unique energy to the festival stage.

Bigger Than Ever Before

Laneway Festival 2026 is set to be the biggest edition yet:

  • 35% more artists on the lineup
  • A brand-new East Coast stage
  • One-third of the lineup making their Australian debut
