Left At The Avenue Bring Their Best With ‘Wailing’

Melbourne indie rock outfit Left At The Avenue are back with their latest single, Wailing. This track is a powerful mix of raw emotion and grungy indie rock, recorded at JMC Recording Studios, and polished to perfection by Dan Molad and Joe Carra. Wailing showcases the band’s knack for channelling their personal and artistic struggles into music that resonates deeply.

The song is a cleansing exploration of frustration and perseverance, with its dynamic instrumentation and heartfelt lyrics reflecting the band’s journey through challenging times. After battling writer’s block throughout 2023, the band poured their pent-up energy into Wailing, and the result is a track that feels as much like a release as it does a reflection.

Bassist Nico Dawe’s words echo the sentiment behind the song: “We were stuck for a while, and finally breaking through with ‘Wailing’ was like letting out a breath we didn’t know we were holding.” Singer Henry Parks adds another layer of intensity, noting that performing ‘Wailing’ taps into something raw and personal, unlike anything they’ve done before.

With previous singles ‘Minibar’ and ‘Cinnamon’ racking up some very impressive online streams, Left At The Avenue has already built a strong connection with their audience. Wailing is set to strengthen that bond even further, offering fans an unfiltered glimpse into the band’s inner world. This track is a must-listen for anyone who appreciates music that’s as honest as it is powerful.
