Legendary Punk Rockers The Saints To Play Melbourne Shows
Legendary Australian punk rockers ‘The Saints’ are coming back, with three exclusive shows set to be played at the Gasometer Hotel in Melbourne in October.
From their debut song (I’m) Stranded recorded in Brisbane in 1976 ‘The Saints’ have captivated the punk rock scene. They’ve toured across the world and haven’t returned to us since December 2o12, so it’s about time they showed us once more how it’s done.
So if you’re an old school Australian rocker or only recently learnt of these iconic punks, this is a show you don’t want to miss. Their shows are renowned for there fantastic energy with Chris Bailey owning any stage that he walks onto. The Saints are widely regarded as one of the most influential bands in the formation of punk rock, and Sir Bob Geldof once stated that they were one of the “three bands that changed rock in the 70s”.
Set to play songs across their entire catalogue you’re in for a treat, tickets go on sale for Frontier members on Thursday, 25th of August with tickets open to the public on the Monday, 29th of August.
