Lemonade Baby Drops Smooth New Single ‘Airbnb’ Ahead of Upcoming Album

Australian indie artist Lemonade Baby has unveiled his latest single, Airbnb, a soulful R&B track that offers a fresh glimpse into his upcoming album. Following the success of his collaborative release Seeing Double with Ronnie Sinclair from Safety Club, Lemonade Baby continues to captivate fans with his blend of Neo-Soul and R&B grooves.

Airbnb was created spontaneously during a writing session with fellow artist Breanna Fielding. Inspired by a conversation about finding peace and solitude after long days, the song touches on the need for a safe space to unwind—embodied by an Airbnb. The track effortlessly combines complex yet uplifting melodies with lyrics that capture a bittersweet, reflective vibe.

“Airbnb is one of few songs that came together by accident. I was in a writing session with my friend Breanna Fielding and we were talking about life and what we had done the past week. She mentions that when she’s too tired from performing she’ll book an Airbnb, so she doesn’t have to drive home. It also was a great excuse to not have to see anyone, she could just decompress.

We start jamming chords and start singing along. In amazement I said to her, “Your melody sounds “complicated/happy but a little bit sad in a weird way”. She then Replies saying that’s a perfect line, and somehow worked that into the lyrics. It was so easy to write we had the song finished in a few hours. I guess the lyrics focus on needing a safe space to breathe and be at peace, all thanks to an Airbnb. I’d always wanted to make a Jazz-R&B/Neo-Soul record, and I’m super excited to include this on my next album.” – Lemonade Baby.

Lemonade Baby’s upcoming album promises to delve deeper into this Jazz-R&B/Neo-Soul sound, making Airbnb a standout track to watch for. It’s available now, everywhere.
