Lime Cordiale Unveil Anticipated Album, ‘Enough of The Sweet Talk’
Australian indie sensation Lime Cordiale has unveiled their much-anticipated third album, Enough of The Sweet Talk, today, accompanied by the release of the music video for their single Strangers. This new album offers a heady mix of enchanting indie pop and an emotional journey, reflecting the band’s ability to stay true to their roots while evolving impressively.
Initially envisioned as a culinary-themed album, Enough of The Sweet Talk took a deeper, more emotional direction. “We thought of our next album like a French menu, with every song referencing food or drink,”laughs Louis. Though some of those references remain, the album ultimately chronicles the course of a relationship rather than a meal.

The creative process for the album was a global adventure, with Louis even crafting the collage artwork in the back of a tour bus. When it came time to record, the band chose the cozy confines of their family homestead, converting the living room into a makeshift studio to preserve intimacy and warmth.
Enough of The Sweet Talk includes previously released singles like Cold Treatment, The Big Reveal; Ou L’Hypocrite, Pedestal, Imposter Syndrome, Colin, Country Club, and Facts Of Life, plus six new tracks.
To celebrate the album release, Lime Cordiale will be meeting fans at record stores along the East Coast:
– Canberra: July 26 at Landspeed Records, 2:30pm – 4:30pm
– Sydney: July 28 at HUM Newtown, 1pm – 3pm
– Melbourne: July 31 at Oh! Jean, 2:30pm – 4:30pm
– Brisbane: August 1 at Rocking Horse, 2:30pm – 4:30pm
This October, the band will embark on a nationwide tour, playing their biggest venues yet. The Enough of The Sweet Talk Tour kicks off in Perth on October 3 and wraps up at Brisbane’s Riverstage on October 13, with Ball Park Music joining as special guests.
