Liposuction Bring Big Vibes On New Single, ‘Pour Some Dollars On Me’

Brisbane alt-rock outfit, Liposuction has today revealed their face-melting new single, Pour Some Dollars On Me. The electric new track follows on from their previous 2023 singles, She Hz and Boring Residue and is taken from their forthcoming debut EP, Octopussy.

Pour Some Dollars On Me wastes no time getting to the point, instantly firing up into a high-energy track that is filled with a dynamic range of audio offerings, capturing the listener and taking them through a high octane journey for it’s two and half minute life span.

The track is a nod to those life experiences where we want to have it all but also want to play the long game wait things out and take the option to miss out on some things. The title of the track is inspired by frontwoman Sunday Hunters love of 80’s hair metal. 

“I grew up listening to classic metal bands from the 70s and 80s and have always loved the idea of paying homage to these bands. Because of this, I specifically chose the name “Pour Some Dollars On Me” as a parody of Def Leppard’s iconic track”Pour Some Sugar On Me.” – Sunday Hunter, Liposuction.

Liposuction has absolutely nailed this one, slapping energy from start to finish it’s impossible to not love this one. Pour Some Dollars On Me is available now everywhere.
