#LittleSeaVirtual Offer A New Stage For A New Age
The future is here! Sydney pop-rock group Little Sea have announced they’ll launch their new single On Loop in a very unique platform, performing their entire EP in a globally-available concert broadcasted online from the Sydney headquarters of Twitter Australia.
The show promises to be a fully immersive experience, with concert attendees able to view the intimate show from their device of choice, while simultaneously interacting with other viewers and the band in online forums.
Holding a concert in this way means the show can be made more affordable, with a digital concert ticket starting at just $5. Upon purchasing a ticket, punters will be issued a unique login to allow them to view the concert. There’s also the option of a one-on-one virtual meeting and signing with the band, with the signed items to be sent in the post after the show.
This innovative kind of show could herald the beginning of a new age of music performances, bringing an intimate concert to a global stage. As Jennie Sager, Head of Music and Entertainment Partnerships with Twitter Australia stated, “With close to 200,000 followers collectively on Twitter, the Little Sea virtual online concert performance will reach and connect fans from Sydney to Paris, from London to New York.”
The concert will be taking place on Saturday, 17th of September 8am AEST. Until then, anyone interested in this event are encouraged to join in the dialogue using the event hashtag #LittleSeaVirtual
