Recently Newcastle electronic newcomer, LUPO.THEBOY revealed his dynamic new single, Perfect Plate alongside the announcement of being added to BIGSOUND 2024. It’s fair to say this guys is making waves across the country impressing some of the biggest tastemakers as well as signing with Sweat It Out sister label, Love Clvb. To celebrate the news LUPO. THE BOY has shared with us 5 artists he’s keen to perform alongside at this year’s BIGSOUND.
Nothing makes me want to sit at the pub spinning yarns with mates more than Adam’s music. His records are the quintessential soundtrack to a larrikin lifestyle and boy I can’t wait to get a little silly.

I found these guys a few months back, and have honestly been obsessed ever since. My fav track is Look the Part, but that’s by a slim margin, because everything they have out is gold. Find me front and centre for their showcase.

I have this habit when watching electronic acts doing live sets. I focus so much on what they’re doing, trying to see if there’s something I could do and because there’s so many options with gear, it’s such a great game to play. I’ve seen vids of the hellcat boys live sets and man am I keen to be there trying to figure things out. They also have some absolute heaters in their catalogue which helps.

Take the best parts of Kaytranada and mix it with a bit of Anderson Paak and you’ve got our kid Squid. He’s had a stellar rise over the last year and I’ve been stinging to see his live show. Keen to see how he throws it all together.

Kate Bush meets Marlon Williams. Georgia is someone I discovered on the Bigsound playlist when it first dropped. I was listening with my partner and when “War Romance” came on, we dropped our jaws, cranked it up and threw it on repeat. I’m keen to get a bit ballady come September!
