M.I.A. Announces 2025 Australian Tour Dates – Melbourne & Sydney Headline Shows Confirmed

Global music icon M.I.A. has announced her return to Australia in October 2025, bringing her trailblazing blend of hip-hop, electronic, and punk to headline stages in Melbourne and Sydney. The British-Sri Lankan artist, celebrated for her fearless creativity and outspoken activism, will also perform at Adelaide’s Harvest Rock Festival before embarking on two special headline shows.

Fans can catch M.I.A. live at Melbourne’s Forum on Sunday, 26 October, and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Wednesday, 29 October. Tickets are expected to sell fast, with a Secret Sounds Presale kicking off from Monday, 1 September at 10:00am (local time) until Tuesday, 2 September at 11:00am, or until allocations are exhausted. General public tickets will be available from Tuesday, 2 September at 12:00pm (local time) via secretsounds.com.

Rising to global fame with her 2005 debut album Arular, M.I.A. broke new ground by merging worldwide influences with sharp political commentary. Her 2008 smash hit “Paper Planes” propelled her to international superstardom, earning Grammy nominations and cementing her status as one of the most influential voices in modern music. Over the years, albums like Kala and Matangi have showcased her genre-defying production, inventive sampling, and socially conscious lyricism, inspiring generations of artists and fans alike.

Don’t miss the chance to see M.I.A. live in Australia 2025 – an artist who continues to push creative boundaries and redefine what pop music can be.
