Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Announce Huge Aussie Tour

Don’t let the Monday blues make you feel down. Instead, prepare yourself to get down because Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have just confirmed a massive Australian Tour for August.

The American duo will return to our shores off the back of their latest album ‘This Unruly Mess I’ve Made’, supported by Sydney hip-hop trio Thundamentals. The album, released late month, includes their most recent hit/Grandmasterflash rip-off Downtown as well as collaborations with Ed Sheeran (Growing Up) and Leon Bridges (Kevin).

It’s been over three years since the release of their Grammy-award winning debut album ‘The Heist’, which featured earworms Thrift Shop, which topped triple j’s 2012 Hottest 100, and anti-homophobia anthem Same Love.

So dust off your grandad’s clothes and oil up your mopeds. Tickets go on sale midday this coming Friday, you better be quick or you’ll be hunting thrift shops for tickets.
