Meanjin/Brisbane indie-folk artist Maddison Kate has officially released her powerful debut EP What I’d Say To You, a vulnerable, four-track collection that showcases her poetic songwriting, heartfelt vocals, and sweeping folk instrumentation.
Out now, the EP serves as an emotional deep-dive into heartbreak, identity, and healing. Opening track A Truth bursts to life with rich violin and pulsing percussion, channeling the raw turmoil of a relationship breakdown. Follow-up More to Me floats between longing and self-worth, fusing intricate guitar lines with soaring vocals.
