Madonna’s Rebellious Heart Causing Australian Tour Troubles

Madonna Rebel Heart Tour

The rescheduled Aussie leg of Madonna’s Rebel Heart tour got off to a rocky start in Melbourne last Friday, marking her first Australian performances in 23 years. We may still be living in a material world, but it sure ain’t perfect.

The 57-year-old exposed her inner diva when she rocked up hours late to her intimate, invite-only Melbourne show ‘Tears of a Clown’. Brisbane fans were also left in the lurch last night, waiting three hours for the material girl to show.

Madge has been heavily criticised for drinking onstage and divulging personal information about her relationship with her son. She has since pointedly denied any allegations of drunkenness, claiming that she couldn’t possible “get through her big show” under the influence.

Madonna took to social media to thank her loyal fans for their support, sharing a sweet message from one of her supporters on Instagram with the caption, “Thanks for supporting me. Too bad people don’t know the art of acting and playing a character. I could never do any of my shows high or drunk”.

Madonna is set to play another show in Brisbane tonight before finishing up in Sydney on Saturday.
