Mark Maxwell, LATOUR and Kid Enigma Team Up For The Club Anthem, ‘Flex’
Two AAA favourites, Mark Maxwell and Latour, have teamed up with American artist Kid Enigma for what we think will be one of the biggest club jams of 2023, FLEX.
Marrying in all the talents from each producer, and bam, you’ve got a club jam that will stand the test of time, thumping kicks, fat rolling basslines and a vocal hook that is an instant catchy classic. Carrying elements of classic tunes of yesterday (think Salmon Dance) and you’re in for an absolute treat.
Maxwell and Latour have DJ’d alongside each other in their respective territories for some time. So it was only a matter of time before they hit the studio together to combine their studio efforts for a tune.
“We got together at little street studio in Brisbane, and I had the acapella from an earlier demo, we laid down the acapella from KE and wrote an entirely new record, with no plan in mind it started reminding us and everyone we showed of “Salmon Dance” by the legendary Chemical Brothers. After that feedback and we knew we were onto something special.” – LATOUR.
Start your weekend by adding this to your favourite clubbing playlists. Mark Maxwell, LATOUR and Kid Enigma’s masterpiece is available now via our pals at Club Sweat.
