Maver Unveils Emotionally Charged EP ‘Spirals’

Australian artist Maver has officially released his highly anticipated EP Spirals today, delivering a powerful collection of songs that explore the complexities of mental health. Following the success of his singles “Lazy” (featuring jnr.) and “I’m Healing” (with LORA), Maver rounds out the EP with two new tracks, “Damn Sad” and “Short Term Memory,” both of which contribute to the project’s deep emotional resonance.

Spirals was written largely in Maver’s bedroom in Perth, reflecting on his personal experiences with anxiety and depression, as well as the shared struggles of those around him. The EP captures feelings of being stuck in a downward spiral, but also offers a message of hope and connection, encouraging listeners to embrace their emotions together.

“Spirals is an EP that’s been a long time in the making. I started writing it in my bedroom in Perth back in 2022, during a period where I was really making progress with my mental health. A lot of the songs came from reflecting on my own experiences with anxiety and depression, as well as conversations I’ve had with friends who’ve gone through the same things.”Maver.

Maver’s organic songwriting approach, coupled with collaborations from artists like LORA, Ukiyo, and jnr., lends the EP an intimate, authentic feel.

Spirals showcases Maver’s evolving artistry, combining raw vulnerability with a desire to help others feel seen and understood. The EP is now available, everywhere.
