Mecha Mecha Drop The Anthemic New Single, ‘My Hero The Homewrecker’

Brisbane/Meanjin-based rockers, Mecha Mecha have today revealed their brand new single, My Hero The Homewrecker. It’s the first we’ve heard from the band since their 2021 single, Grease The Hinges pt 1.

A track that comes with it all, it opens with a soft and bright run of violin work before it erupts into a dramatic overload of power. Carrying a wave of prog rock anthemic vibes, My Hero The Homewrecker is a diverse offering of prog metal and expressive musicianship.

Mecha Mecha have turned heads since their debut all those years ago, a band that offers it all, they’re combined talents leave nothing to the imagination. This weekend they will headline Nimbin’s Mardigrass festival and in June they will be playing at the Moondoll Festival at the Mansfield Tavern in Brisbane on June 3.
