Melbourne Rockers Massive Announce New Album & National Tour

Melbourne hard rockers Massive are set to release their new studio album ‘Destination Somewhere’ later this month and are hitting the road for a national tour with rock stalwarts The Screaming Jets in May.

Massive are a volatile macho-rock engine run on adrenaline, lager, and a determination to party hard. Known to travel thousands of miles across the baking desert between gigs, these riot-starting, fist swinging road dogs mean business.

‘Destination Somewhere’ is the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Full Throttle’, which was originally released independently in 2013 here in Australia, before being released to the rest of the world in 2014 on Earache Records in the US.

Like it’s predecessor, ‘Destination Somewhere’ is an all killer, no filler, four on the floor banger of an album, which is just full of rock anthems, huge choruses and massive riffs. All the ingredients to make a classic hard rock album, the way they used to!

Frontman, Brad Marr said, “When it was time to write our second album we were touring non-stop.  ‘Destination Somewhere’ was written everywhere from hotel rooms in Europe to the tour van in outback Australia, so going back to LightHill Studios was a way to bring all our experiences home to a familiar place.

“We couldn’t be more pumped about the end result.  It’s an album we’re proud to put our name to, and we’re sure you’re gonna f***ing love it.  This album is a snapshot of who we are at this point in time.  It’s high-energy rock n roll best served loud with an ice cold beer,” said Marr.

Following the band’s first ever European tour, which saw them playing alongside English rockers The Treatment and Blackberry Smoke, Massive return in 2016 with 10 brand new balls-to-the-wall hard rock anthems. Make sure you don’t miss out!
