Miami Horror Unveils New Single ‘Lost Seasons’ and Announces Upcoming Album We Always Had Tomorrow
Acclaimed Australian indie-electronic act Miami Horror, spearheaded by LA-based producer Benjamin Plant, has returned with exciting news. The group has announced their long-awaited new album, We Always Had Tomorrow, set for release on February 28, 2025. To mark the occasion, Miami Horror has released a captivating new single, Lost Seasons.
The track delves into themes of childhood nostalgia and the passage of time, blending melancholy undertones with uplifting hopefulness. Co-written with Lach Bostock of Mansionair and produced in collaboration with Grammy-winner RAC, ‘Lost Seasons’ channels the euphoric spirit of early indie rock through a modern electronic lens, showcasing Plant’s emotive vocals and lush instrumentals.
“‘LOST SEASONS’ was a true channelling of the original MH spirit. The chords were so nostalgia drenched, I knew they’d have an important part in the album. We explored themes of childhood and hopefulness for the future, reminiscing on the days we can’t get back. We wanted to transport the listener back a little bit to that period of their life. The chords came early in the album’s creation, I then sat on them for a few years wondering in a direction but upon working with RAC we decided to go for an indie anthem. Inspired by the euphoria and harmony of early indie rock but filtered through a modern and more electronic lens. I love the idea of taking the nostalgic emotion and energy from that early 2000s era and putting it into a new context.” – Benjamin Plant, Miami Horror.
This single follows September’s double release of ‘Aurora / Dead Flowers’ and ‘Together,’ offering a glimpse into the forthcoming album’s introspective journey.
We Always Had Tomorrow marks Miami Horror’s first full-length release in nearly a decade, promising a genre-defying mix of collaborators, including Telenova, Ngaiire, and RAC. The album is set to transport listeners through an immersive sonic exploration of life’s cycles and emotions.
