Specifically, about going through the emotions of being tempted by someone else while you are already in a relationship and feeling like you are too deep into a situation that no matter what you do, or who you choose, you’ll lose and everybody gets hurt. Infidelity is not something we condone, but it does happen, and I just wanted to challenge myself to tell a story from a perspective that we haven’t done before in our previous songs. Life and love and the challenges you face along the way with relationships are really complex, and I really wanted to convey that in this song. We are both grown up now, and you have either experienced something like this yourself, or know someone close to you that has.
