Miramar Drop Uplifting New Single ‘Work It Out’

Eora/Sydney-based indie-electronic outfit Miramar have released their vibrant new single, Work It Out, a pop-infused track that blends atmospheric synths with infectious, dancefloor-ready energy. The song marks the second taste of their upcoming sophomore EP, set to drop later this year.

Built on shimmering production and an uplifting melody, Work It Out explores themes of vulnerability and resilience. The trio—Rosh Yau (vocals), Sam Langley, and Matt Sampson (producers)—crafted the track during a period of personal and creative burnout, transforming it into a hopeful anthem about navigating conflict and reconnecting with what matters most.

“The lyrics are a really vulnerable, personal story of taking a minute during a fight with someone you love remember that you still love them and you’ll get through it. It’s a conversation we had to have with ourselves about music as well. There’s been many times we were burnt out and needed to remind ourselves that we love it and need to keep going – we’re actually doing okay and we’re going to make it work.

We originally wrote the song while we were still in a bit of a burnout spiral. When we finally went to finish we were coming out the other side of that, so it ended up a much more hopeful and optimistic song which we love.” – Miramar.

Following the success of their previous single, In The Morning, which earned airplay on national radio, Miramar continue to carve their niche in Australia’s electronic scene. They’ve supported acts like RAAVE Tapes, Ivey, and Juno Mamba, while also curating their own live series, Club Miramar, showcasing emerging local talent.

Work It Out cements Miramar’s signature sound—an irresistible fusion of heartfelt lyricism and danceable grooves.
