Mousse T, Wankelmut and Francesco Yates Unite for Disco-Inspired Single ‘Some Kinda Feeling’

Legendary German producers Mousse T and Wankelmut have teamed up with Canadian singer-songwriter Francesco Yates for a brand-new single, Some Kinda Feeling — a dreamy disco-pop house anthem that lands just in time for the Australian spring and summer party season.

Blending uplifting vocals, infectious grooves, and a shimmering dose of disco nostalgia, Some Kinda Feeling captures the essence of timeless dance music while injecting a fresh, modern twist. With his iconic hits Horny and Sex Bomb (with Tom Jones), Mousse T has long cemented his place in electronic music history. On this collaboration, he praised Wankelmut’s initial idea and Francesco Yates’ standout performance, calling the result “a class record with all the soul and disco virtues plus a pop twist.”

Wankelmut, famed for My Head Is a Jungle and his chart-topping remix of One Day/Reckoning Song, echoed the excitement:

“I’m just a sucker for good vocals! When Wankelmut sent me the initial idea, I was blown away as I could see the potential of this gem and was inspired straight away to put my touch on this tune. As I’m a big fan of Wankelmut and Francesco and feeling great collabs, this was a great opportunity for a remote shizzle session which turned out amazingly. I love the fact that we delivered a class record with all the soul and disco virtues plus a pop twist that could work on the dancefloor too. Get ready for a lot of smiles and head nods ‘cos this is ‘Some Kinda (dope) Feeling!’”

With Yates’ instantly recognisable voice — also heard on Robin Schulz’s global hit SugarSome Kinda Feeling is set to light up dancefloors, playlists, and festivals worldwide.
