Move Over Attenborough, There’s A New D-O-G-G In Town

548056-116551

Ah, David Attenborough. The voice in our lounge rooms as we watch a lion beautifully devour a gazelle, so peaceful, so calm! The most recognisable voice of our generation we’d argue (besides Morgan Freeman of course).

But let’s be real, as much as we all love seeing those wavey white locks dance across the Amazon on our TV screens, he can’t keep it up forever. But don’t bat those heavy eyelids in misery my nature loving friends, because it seems that the world has given us another smokey voice to inform us about the world’s beautiful majestic creatures and exotic environments.

After giving us low-ridin’ hits like Drop It Like It’s Hot and Gin & Juice, it seems as though Snoop Dogg is ready to take his career to the next level and relinquish the reigns from our British nature God. Whilst the transition from music to Film & TV hasn’t enjoyed the best success rate lately for musicians, it’s hard not to see Jimmy Kimmel Live sketch “Plizzanet Earth” progressing further.

Ridiculous? Maybe. But according to change.org, a mammoth 47,000 people have already signed a petition to see the P.I.M.P continue BBC’s documentary series ‘Planet Earth’. It appears as though the big fella himself isn’t completely against the idea either, tweeting:
