New Aussie Punk Festival Brings Sick Thrashing Lineup
A brand new punk festival is coming to NSW next year, and it is going to blow your Docs off! The festival, called Thrashville, is the newest venture from the team behind festivals such as Dashville Skyline, The Gum Ball, and Pigsty.
Thrashville will be happening in NSW’s Hunter Valley, at a venue owned by the team. The lineup will feature a heap of cool Aussie punk bands, headlined by Sydney’s The Hard-Ons. Also on the line up are Cosmic Psychos, Clowns, Mischling, and The Neptune Power Federation, plus heaps more!
Headliners The Hard-Ons have been a staple in the Aussie punk scene for over 30 years. Forming in 1981, the band are known to be prolific, with 17 consecutive number one hits on the Australian alternative charts during the first 12 years of their formation. Among these hits were classics Girl In The Sweater and Sick Of Being Sick.
The festival promises to be a variety of differing genres, with a combination of punk, hard rock, and metal bands. Not only will it have bands, but the new festival will also be featuring skateboard demos, graffiti art displays, bmx, markets, and more!
