Zefereli’s Latest Track Will Leave You Feeling “Satisfied”

Brissy indie-pop group Zefereli has released yet another new track Satisfied since completing their tour in July. The sweet-hearted single comes only a few short months after their previous track Stupid Goodbye, and it cuts deep.

The track packs Summer Flake’s soft rock style with a touch of Tegan and Sara’s harmonic influence in the chorus, all wrapped up with a sweet country bow. Complete with a slightly alien synth-filled bridge, Satisfied is all about good vibes.

Featuring happy-go-lucky whistling and up-beat acoustics, the sound of the finished product reflects the band’s decision to record in an empty farm house an hour out of the city. The song’s optimistic lyrics will make you want to pack your bags and follow your dreams – “Don’t push your dreams aside/ You shall be satisfied.”

Frontman Alistar Richardon said the album has been in production for the best part of six months. “Just as I was wrapping it up, Satisfied came along and I just felt like it really resonated with how I was feeling at the moment: One part pessimism two parts optimism,” he said.

Zefereli are playing a number of headline shows over the next few months in support of their new song, and alongside Banff and Caitlin Park in September.
