DIY Punk two-piece Gooch Palms will be bringing their Newcastle x Los Angeles character to the NYE festivities at Crowbar with no lockouts on the night. Support comes from a variety of heavy local acts, so pack some leather and denim and get ready to head bang into the new year.

For the more cultured who aren’t looking to get full on turnt, QPAC will be hosting a sophisticated NYE gala with exceptional singers Mirusia and Jason Barry-Smith. If you aren’t feeling up to staying through to midnight, there is also an early show for the 8:45 fireworks.

One of the many fully sick places to go on NYE, The Met always delivers on sick beats, brah. Capped off by Aussie electro celebrities Hermitude, the night will be as huge as the bass drops from Hermitude (pretty freaking huge).

Family Nightclub –
Family nightclub will be split between four floors of different dance vibes. The second floor will be Cult NYE presenting Symbiotic which is described as “Having credit from some of the biggest players in the game. Alongside his pals Codd Dubz and Ranga the Sewer sessions name has been one of the most dominant up and coming brands of 2016. This kid has big plans for 2017.” Meanwhile on the ground floor, Paul Oakenfield will be holding down the decks, a man whose music spreads throughout all culture. Tickets are $40 on the door or $30 pre-booked, there is also a VIP package including drinks, and an exclusive deck for $100 or $80 pre-booked.
