Nicholas Costello Gives The First Taste Of HIs Upcoming Album With, ‘Capital Realm’
Canberra based indie singer/songwriter Nicholas Costello is set to unveil this brand new single, Capital Realm this Friday and today we have the very first listen to share with you!
Capital Realm is the first taste of Costello’s upcoming sophomore album, Chronos which is due out later this year. It’s a stripped back number that has a genuine, classic ballad feel to it. Smooth a hypnotic guitar work blended with some flat drum work and a soulful vocal delivery bring out the best of Costello.

The track was written during a time of major change in Costello’s life where he experienced some strange times on a night out on the town.
“Capital Realm is about a series of strange and unsettling events which I experienced on a night out, just after I’d moved cities during the bushfires in early 2020. I remember I felt like everything in my life was chaotic and surreal at the time, but really, much like the night itself, it was just a prelude to what was to come.” – Nicholas Costello
Fans will be treated to a live performance of the new single and more at a single launch at Canberra’s, Smith Alternative on April 29.
