Coldplay Are Making Dreams Come True With Another Australian Tour!
Coldplay are set to follow up their groundbreaking ‘Mylo Xyloto’ tour with a string of East Coast tour dates for their seventh album ‘Head Full Of Dreams’.
Aussie fans have been suffering from withdrawal for the last two years since Coldplay decided not to take their sixth album ‘Ghost Stories’ on the national circuit.
The band have booked out some of Australia’s biggest stadiums for the tour, the perfect arenas for the anthemic choruses and catchy melodies of ‘Head Full Of Dreams’. Since forming in 1996, Coldplay has built up an impressive discography of seven albums dating back to 2000.
Frontman Chris Martin says the band are excited to get back on the road after the break in their touring schedule.
“I think that not going on tour with ‘Ghost Stories’ was one of the best decisions we ever made, because it gave us such pent-up energy in the studio and completely reignited everyone’s desire to go around the world and play music,” Martin said.
Tickets for Coldplay’s ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ tour go on sale on Monday 30th of May, with the first ticket pre-sales kicking off on Monday 23th of May.
To keep fans satiated during the wait, Coldplay dropped their third single Up&Up this week. The new track merges the band’s trademark understated vocals with upbeat lyrics and anthemic instrumentation – it’s a must-hear for lovers of sweet electro-pop tunes.
