To raise money for Women’s House, a women’s run shelter, support, and resource centre for women in Brisbane, The Bearded Lady in West End is putting on a show with Coffin Birth, Pleasure Symbols, Black Deity, and X in O. All funds raised go straight to Women’s House, so come on down and help celebrate their 40 birthday! Tickets are $10.
Hard-Ons + Hound, The Ron Swansons – The Foundry – Friday Nov 6
Legendary Australian punk rockers Hard-Ons are coming to The Foundry in early November and we’re expecting one hell of a show. They will be joined by Brisbane locals Hound. and The Ron Swansons. Tickets are $14.80 through Oztix.
The Vaccines + The Belligerents, The Jensens – The Triffid – Sunday Nov 8
English rockers The Vaccines are bringing their high octane, ultra-melodic sound to The Triffid in Newstead. The show is on a Sunday night, so you might want to call in sick to work on Monday in advance. They will be joined by Brissy’s The Belligerents and The Jensens. The Brian Jonestown Massacre + Martyr Privates – The Triffid – Friday Nov 13
The Brian Jonestown Massacre are coming to Brisbane to celebrate 25 years as a band, in their ‘Silver Jubilee Tour 2015’. The San Francisco formed shoegaze/psych rockers, fronted by Anton Newcombe, will be playing at The Triffid and be joined by Martyr Privates. Tickets are $72.95 via The Triffid website.
Tame Impala + Mini Mansions, Koi Child – Brisbane River Stage – Saturday Nov 21
Perth rockers Tame Impala are hitting the road to celebrate the release of their third album ‘Currents’. They will be coming to Brisbane’s River Stage and will be bringing Los Angeles based Mini Mansions, as well as Koi Child. Tickets are $59 via ticketmaster.
Slum Sociable + Special guests – Black Bear Lodge – Saturday Nov 28
Melbourne’s lo-fo, jazz hop duo Slum Sociable are coming to Black Bear Lodge to celebrate the release of their debut EP ‘TQ’. They will be playing with “special guests”…everyone loves a mystery right? Tickets are $18.40 from Oztix.
The Maine + With Confidence – The Brightside – Monday Nov 30
Arizona’s alternative pop/punk band The Maine are heading to The Brightside at the end of November and bringing their friends With Confidence along with them. This is their first Australian headlining tour, so why not show them a good time. Tickets are $49.50 via Oztix.
