Oasis Announce 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’
British rock icons Oasis have officially announced the 30th anniversary edition of their legendary 1995 album ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’, with a deluxe reissue dropping on October 3.
The remastered deluxe edition will include new unplugged versions of five classic Oasis tracks — “Wonderwall”, “Champagne Supernova”, “Morning Glory”, “Cast No Shadow”, and “Acquiesce” — all produced by Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho from the original masters at Noel’s Lone Star Sound studio in London.
Fans can pre-order limited edition 2CD and 3LP coloured vinyl formats now, including an Amazon-exclusive sepia marble pressing inspired by “Wonderwall” and a neon orange variant inspired by “Acquiesce”. The reissue will also feature new artwork by original designer Brian Cannon and fresh sleeve notes, alongside the 2014 remastered version of the album.
Originally released in October 1995, ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ skyrocketed Oasis to global fame, becoming one of the best-selling UK albums of all time and selling over 22 million copies worldwide. It was crowned Best British Album at the 1996 BRIT Awards and remains the UK’s most streamed album from the ‘90s.
The announcement coincides with the band’s highly anticipated Live ‘25 world tour, which kicks off in Cardiff and includes Australian dates in October/November. A limited number of production hold tickets have just been released for sold-out Sydney and Melbourne shows.
Fans can explore the band’s legacy through the new Live ‘25 Map Experience at live25.oasisinet.com.
