Ocean Grove Bring ‘The Rhapsody Tapes’ Around Australia

After releasing one of this year’s best hardcore albums, ‘The Rhapsody Tapes’, Melbourne’s Ocean Grove are (finally) bringing their acclaimed debut album around Australia for a run of tour dates.

After a brief stint supporting Architects’ national Groovin the Moo sideshows, hardcore five-piece Ocean Grove are now bringing the heavy to a tour of their own headline shows. The Australian performances will be the first in support of their recently released debut album, ‘The Rhapsody Tapes’. All shows will be supported by Sydney five-piece Justice For The Damned, Melbourne outfit Broken and surf punks The Beverly Chills.

Already appearing in some early mid-year “Best Of’s” for 2017 albums, Ocean Grove strike an innate balance of hardcore, nu-metal and experimental. It’s metal music that’s not quite metal. The album is also littered with special intermittent tracks of droning-rap-reggae (you’ll just have to listen to believe it).

Also appearing at Splendour in the Grass, Ocean Grove will play a run of four special dates this August. Tickets will fly for these shows–view the dates below.
