Oscar Key Sung Lets His Guard Down On ‘Simple Luv’

Oscar Key Sung can do no wrong. Simple Luv is the new single from the multifaceted Melbourne artist and continues to broaden his sticky, translucent electro-soul-pop.

Following the perfect D.Y.T from a few months back, Simple Luv is an altruistic approach into crisp production and a forearm’s extension of Oscar Key Sung’s already amazing soulful vocals. As always, he pairs his clattering production so easily with his voice. His music is acts as a voyeur into his life—it’s clear cut and plays to his trait of honesty.

According to Oscar Key Sung, Simple Luv is a about letting your protective barrier down.

I wrote the core lyrics for the single ‘Simple Luv’ across a 24-hr period. Starting while walking through an airport and finishing while in a hotel room in Paris. I had spent my flight from Melbourne to Paris in a fever, waking up from intense dreams and crying about things I had bottled up. Once I got on the plane I think I could drop my guard,” states Oscar Key Sung.

Simple Luv comes paired with the announcement of Oscar Key Sung’s upcoming new EP, ‘No Disguise’. Coming late May, it’s his first EP release since 2015’s ‘Altruism’.
