Oscar The Wild Share Genre-Blurring New EP ‘Blue’ and Announce National Tour
Adelaide alt-pop trio Oscar The Wild return with their bold new mini-EP ‘Blue’, a three-track release that showcases the band’s fearless creativity and genre-defying sound. Following a huge run of national headlines in 2025, the Kaurna-based favourites continue to push boundaries while staying true to their playful and punchy core.
Each track on ‘Blue’ offers a distinct flavour: opener ‘Roll With The Punches’ brings eerie, haunting harmonies; ‘Big Think’ delivers dense, murky layers of existential grit; and title track ‘Blue’ closes the EP with a sweet, slow-burning waltz. Together, they form a cohesive yet diverse sonic journey, produced once again by long-time collaborator Rhys Williams.

“It’s a long time to realise that others’ expectations of me are more a reflection of them. As someone who chronically disappoints people, I tell myself this to prevent me from getting too blue. I’m an animal: I growl, sniff, eat, excrete. If you expect more, you’ll be disappointed.”
To celebrate, Oscar The Wild will tour Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide this July, bringing their electric live show to fans across the East Coast. The band will also release ‘Blue’ on limited vinyl as a double EP with their acclaimed debut ‘She’ll Be Right’ – a must-have for Aussie music lovers.
