OXJAM Returns w/ Art vs Science & Megan Washington

What’s better than rocking out to some awesome music while raising money in the fight against poverty? Nothing!

The national OXJAM festival encourages artists and everyday partygoers to come together and raise money in support of OXFAM Australia.

The festival has been running for over a decade in the UK and has become a huge success since hitting our shores in 2015. The event raised thousands of dollars last year and hosted over 180 gigs around Australia.

Kicking off this August, the festivities will be supported by some big Aussie names including Sydney electronic trio Art vs Science. The outfit have been chosen amongst the first ambassadors for the event, alongside ARIA winner Megan Washington.

“I’m proud to be an ambassador for OXJAM. [It’s] a fantastic initiative, aimed at enticing music fans all over Australia to host gigs in the name of fighting poverty. I can’t wait to see what the country comes up with in August,” said Washington.

The full launch party lineup will be announced late June.
